hi there! i'm marissa, the gal behind bella bella boston.

born & raised in massachusetts, and a true new england girl to the core.

moved to boston for college (suffolk university alum!) and stayed for just over eight years.
in my past life I worked as a buyer/merchandiser at a jewelry design studio in boston's south end, 
and a drug rehabilitation counselor/social worker at a woman's prison.

I decided after a trip to los angeles a few years ago to give the west coast a try.
after two years working in beverly hills buying for a boutique pharmacy, it was time to head home.
currently back in the south end working in custom mid century modern interior design.

lover of all things pretty & sparkly, mermaids, fall, and the kennedys.

I have an obsession with painting my fingernails, 
and a makeup collection that rivals some professionals.
I believe the ocean can solve most problems, and everyone looks better with a cat eye.
